Total quantity of products associated with active subscriptions as of a specific period.
Explanation of metric
This metric measures the aggregated subscribed quantity for each plan or addon for each subscription where a quantity-based pricing model is used for a specific period.
Multiple quantities are still billed using one invoice and are prorated when the subscription changes, including when you change just the quantities involved.
How it's measured
Measure the total quantity of each subscription. This includes the quantity available for each plan and the addon component in a subscription.

Interpretation
You can convert your existing fixed plan customers to quantity-based plans if applicable to provide them more flexibility in billing. In such cases just tracking only the total charges associated with the subscription does not provide the full story of your subscriber base and tracking associated quantity additionally might serve the purpose.
