When the access permission in Salesforce is restricted, you may see this error 'You do not have permission to read the field discount on the opportunity line item in Salesforce'. To fix this error Object manager » Opportunity Product » Discount.
Solution
Navigate to the Discount field & enable access for the same.
Object manager » Oppurnity Product » Discount » Visible > Save
