Plan Addon grouping
This error appears during subscription creation if you're trying to add a non-recurring addon to a plan that has a free trial period. Chargebee tries to collect the charges for the non recurring add-on during the creation of the subscription However for a trial plan, as there is no immediate charge. The system wouldn't be able to process the payment for the non recurring add-on seperately.
To avoid this error, you can use the auto addon feature.
This feature allows you to configure the addons' applicability to plans and also lets you choose the event for which the add-on charge has to be collected.
Navigate to the plan details page for the required plan.
Select the applicable addon under the Addons section
Next, set the addon charges to be collected for the event “On subscription trial start”, as shown in the screenshot below.
