How to update the address on the invoice with third-party tax app integration?
Summary
If the Chargebee site is integrated with third-party applications for taxation, you cannot edit any of the address fields and the VAT Number field, since the tax rate calculated is based on them. You need to void and regenerate the invoice to update the address.
Solution
If the Chargebee site is integrated with third-party applications for taxation, you cannot edit any of the address fields and the VAT Number field, since the tax rate calculated is based on them. However, you can update any non-address fields.
If you try to update the same it will throw an error: billing_address[line1]: should not be sent as third-party tax integration is used to calculate tax for this invoice.
In case you need to update the address on an already generated invoice then you need to void and regenerate the invoice.
