Can I customize the line items in an invoice?
Summary
In Chargebee an invoice is automatically generated based on the plans and addons associated with the subscription. Therefore, you will not be able to create an invoice with multiple line items or add multiple line items to an existing invoice.
For a subscription with a plan and addons, the invoice will automatically list the plans and the addons on different line items. The same is the case when you try to bulk upload these onto the Chargebee.
Note: Metered billing allows you to add line items to your invoices at the end of each term.
As a workaround, you can always detail the costs that are involved in a plan pricing using the Plan Description option as specified below,
