Scope

How to edit product family while creating plans?

How can I create a product family from Create Addons page?

Do we have the option to create a new product family from the Charges page?

Summary

You can edit a Product family from Product Catalog > Product Families > Product Family > Edit Product Family.

To create a Product Family from the Product Families Index Page navigate from Product Catalog > Product Families > Create Product Family. Although to reduce the constant navigation to the product family page while creating a new Plan, Addon & Charge we have added a flyover to create a Product family from the Create Plans Page, Create Addons Page & Create Charge Page.

Solution

To edit an existing product family,

  1. Click Product Catalog > Product Families.
  2. From the list of product families, navigate to the record that you wish to edit, click the more icon, and click Edit Product Family.
  3. On the Edit Product Family page, you can edit the product family name and description.
  4. Click Update.

To create a Product Family from the Product Families Index Page navigate from Product Catalog > Product Families > Create Product Family.

Create Product Family flyover from create Plans/Addons/Charges page.

Earlier to create plans/addons/charges without product family was difficult to navigate back to the 'Product Family' page before creating other Product Catalog items. Now, you can create product family on the fly while creating the plans/addons and charges pages.
