Scope

Can I change the usage calculation from 'sum of all usages' to 'most recent usages' for a few plans/addons?

Can I override this setting at a customer level?

Summary

The new feature of Metered Billing provides you two options to calculate usage charges.

• Sum of all usages

• Most recent usages

Based on your preference Chargebee calculates the usage data at the time of invoice generation. There is also an option to override this setting when the below option is enabled.

Solution

The override of this feature is available while creating a plan/addon level alone.

Note: This override cannot be done at the subscription or customer level.
