Creating a renewal invoices report via report builder - Past invoices
Solution
If you're looking for a report only for past invoices, for example, say February just ended, and if you want to look at all February renewals/cancellations to accumulate churn numbers. When looking at 2/1/23 - 2/28/23 and “generated invoices” it will have all invoices, including net-new purchases. Navigate from RevenueStory > Report Builder
A better way is to build a custom report using subscription and invoice data sources and filter from the first invoice as false. Then you will get the past renewal invoices. Additionally, you need to filter for invoice status as Paid, Payment Due, and Not paid.
