How Offline Payments work ( Xero, Netsuite, Quickbooks)

Summary

Offline payments are the payments that are made in a third-party system (Xero, Netsuite, Quickbooks) to a Chargebee invoice and are synced back to Chargebee as offline transactions.

How offline payments sync works and how to locate an offline payment?

  1. If Offline payment sync is enabled, The payments made in third-party systems are recorded in Chargebee when Manual/Auto Sync is run. That is through the normal sync, we record these transactions in Chargebee. So in order to troubleshoot, check the time at which payment was recorded and if there was any sync run in Chargebee after that time
  2. Every payment that is recorded in Chargebee via this sync would have a comment “Payment imported from " example : %%% cbext
