How can a customer process their Direct Debit payment via GoCardless without redirecting to another page while using Chargebee Checkout?

Summary

If you want your customers to enter their local Bank account details while processing the Direct Debit payment via GoCardless using the Chargebee Checkout page, you need to enable the feature under Advanced Feature at GoCardless settings.

Solution

Please navigate to the Settings > Configure Chargebee > Payment Gateways > GoCardless > Scroll down to the Advanced feature section > enable “Allow customers to enter local (bank) details in Chargebee checkout”

This will allow the customer to enter their local Bank account details on the Checkout page.

The customers making payments in GBP, cannot choose any other country other than the UK.

For the customers making payments in EUR, it is possible to select different countries which are belonging to the European Union.

If the customer is from a different country where the GBP and EUR are not supported, they can click on the “Enter IBAN” and they need to enter the International bank account number to process the payment.

Note: For making payment in SEK, it is not possible to enter the IBAN number. The customer has to process the payment with their Swedish local bank account details onl

This Advanced feature of GoCardless is only available for BACS(GBP), SEPA(EUR), and Autogiro(SEK) Direct Debit schemes.
