How to calculate the MRR value for the customers whose subscription change is in the Future?

Problem Statement

This article explains why subscription changes scheduled for the future are not included in the current month's MRR and how to ensure accurate MRR for migrated subscriptions.

Solution

MRR in Chargebee includes total predictable monthly recurring revenue from subscriptions (recurring items, coupons, discounts, recurring addons). Charges and subscription changes in the future state do not apply to the current period and are excluded from the current month's MRR.

For migrated subscriptions

If you are migrating subscriptions into Chargebee, import past subscriptions instead of creating them in the future state on your live site. Subscriptions imported with a past date will be included in MRR for the correct months.
